Dr. Bassant Madkour is the Technical Office Director and the Assistant Chairman for the Egyptian Drug Authority, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Science as well as a Total Quality Management Diploma from American University in Cairo. Dr. Bassant is certified in pharmacovigilance and was the former rapporteur of the Scientific Committees at the Central Administration for Pharmaceutical Affairs.
Dr. Noha El-Hariri is the General Director of Administration of Medical Devices Registration at the Egyptian Drug Authority. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Pharmacy as well as an MBA in Health Economics. Previously, she worked in the Central Administration for Pharmaceutical Affairs as an inspector and later moved on to join the Medical Device Department.
Dr. Mohammed Al Jallal is the Senior Expert of Drug Safety Cosmetic Safety Department at the SFDA. He holds a B.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, an M.Sc. in Toxicology and a PhD in Toxicology. He has been a part of the SFDA for 15 years and possesses an outstanding experience in the field of Cosmetic Safety and Regulations. His notable accomplishments include developing an E-Cosma Products Registration system as well as implementing a post marketing surveillance programme for cosmetic products within the Saudi Food & Drug Authority.
During my work, developed & managed the operations of many important programs in the section that have a strategic impact on both Dubai & Municipality strategic plan such as registration of different categories of consumer products (e.g. Health Supplements, cosmetics
and personal care products, fragrance, disinfectants, biocides and recently Toys, food contact material), in addition to the related programs as consignment control. In addition, managing health and safety permits in the emirate of Dubai.
As a member, participated in high level federal and local government committees responsible for evaluation of consumer products policies, regulations and safety.

He has now created Easy Medical Device to support Medical Device companies that need help to place compliant products in the Market. He also educate the Medical Device community through his Blog, Podcast and Youtube channel. By educating everyone, we prevent issues to happen.

Dr. Hesa Subah AlDoseri is a consultant family Physician. She got her bachelor Medicine and Surgery from Arabian Gulf University in Kingdom of Bahrain. She obtained the Arab Board Certificate in Family Medicine in 2012 and got the Joint Board Certificate in family Practice from the Royal College of General SurgeonsBahrain in 2011. Currently working as Head of Healthcare
Facilities Regulation Department at NHRA. She is one member of the healthcare giver team which volunteered to treat expatriate employees subjected to abuse and exploitation attending LMRA clinic in the Expat Protection Center.
